1
How long have you been a part of the ROOST team?
I started ROOST Real Estate Co. in January of 2014. I earned my real estate license in Ohio in 2001 and in Florida in 2015.
4
In your opinion what makes ROOST a different kind of real estate company?
The agents at ROOST Real Estate Co. build their personal businesses one relationship at a time. We are not just deal makers, we are real estate consultants with a deep desire to add value to the lives of our clients for years and years to come.

What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I learn far more from the people I get to work with every day than they learn from me. Having a great team around me makes my job an absolute joy.
10
Favorite movie? Sports team? Band?
I am not a big sports fan but my wife Kelly and I catch a movie matinee at the local AMC theater almost every weekend. I can watch Talladega Nights over and over again. Call me a classic rocker but Springsteen, Dylan, Beatles, and the Rolling Stones are my musical favorites.
2
What’s the number one myth that you hear about the Real Estate market that you’d like to clear up?
It is a myth that you can time the real estate market. Real estate is an asset that always increases in value over the long term. There will never be a better time to invest in real estate than today.
5
What is the one thing you would tell someone who is hesitant to list their home out of fear of the market?
Life, not interest rates dictate when it’s time for someone to buy a new house. A first child, a growing family, a job relocation, an empty nest, or simply the basic desire for something new is what motivates people to buy. The days of multiple offers in just a few hours may be behind us, but that does not mean there is not a buyer out there dreaming about your home right now.
8
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee. No contest. And craft beer. Not a wine fan.
3
Favorite part about helping people find their next home or sell their current home?
My favorite part of helping people buy and sell homes is that I get to watch their lives unfold in real time. If I’m adding value to a relationship I get to be there when they buy their first home, move up to their second home, buy their first investment property to pass on to their kids, and someday, buy that perfect condo to retire to on the beach.
6
When you’re not working at ROOST what hobby occupies your time?
I try to make time everyday for exercise. I love to cook, read, stream great TV, and travel.
9
Cats or Dogs?
We have both. A dog named Sandy and a cat named Matt Damon.
