Week 14: #2 The Freedom of Relationship || The 4 Freedoms

The Freedom of Relationship for the real estate professional means that you choose who you work with and who you don’t.

How many times has your energy and confidence been depleted by working with people you flat out do not enjoy working with? How often have you felt you had no other choice?

Freedom of relationship means you work with and for people that support and appreciate you and what you have to offer.

You are only going to be as good as the people you surround yourself with. I am talking about clients, business partners, and the people who make up your office. Every real estate professional needs to have the self-confidence necessary to let go of clients, partners and co-workers that hold them back and weigh them down.

Not every Realtor is in a position to fire a client no matter how good it is going to feel. Many Realtors can’t afford to give up even the possibility of a commission check. Being able to work with only who you want to work with may sound unattainable. Let me assure you that it is attainable and it is a freedom you deserve.

The trick is to create a steady stream of incoming referrals. Multiple referrals from friends, family, business associates, and past clients gives you the power to say ‘no’ to customers that are clearly not a right fit for the way you do business.
